The Elephant in the Room -
New album Out Now!
"Don't Look Now deliver bright, playful indie charm with uplifting Saxophone lines, jangled guitars & an easy going vibe that carries the warmth of classic British indie pop."
ROCK ERA MAG

"Writing intelligent story driven songs with a witty irreverent edge, they draw influences from The Kinks, Madness & The Smiths, blending different styles to fit the narative of each track."
VOCAL CLOUD MAG
"Don't Look Now are beholden to no particular scene or demographic. Their music simply exists as intelligent joyful, adult pop, made by people who care more about the song than the market."
INDIE DOCK MUSIC BLOG
"Instead of settling for predictable songwriting themes they have a clear creative principle: songs should say something specific not just sound appealing."
MUSIC EARSHOT
"Don't Look Now have mastered the art of catchy, witty, intelligent, songwriting with an irrisistable sense of fun, mixing rock, soul, funk & reggae into a coctail that'll have you stomping your boots & spilling your beer."

BIO

What do you get when you combine the nutty boy humour of Madness, the irreverence & jangly guitars of The Smiths, the thoughtful intelligent lyrics of The Beautiful South, the Cheeky Chappy style of The Kinks & the mind bogglingly intricate Saxophone chops of John Coltrane? Well, add to that a rhythm section that will get your toes tapping & your feet itching to get up on the dance floor with a mix of Rock & Roll, Pop, Soul, Funk & Reggae, then you’ll have all the ingredients that go to make up The Don’t Look Now Band.
They have songs about almost anything you can think of, so if you’re fed up with hearing the same old love you hate you, I want you back, I don’t want you back tunes that make up much of the pop charts, then why not take a break from all that & listen to some songs about something much more interesting instead, like selling used cars, tabloid journalism, stamp collecting, bank robbery, holiday romance, artificial intelligence, staying calm in a crisis, a particular style of glasses worn by John Lennon & having an affair with your cousin.

Their recently released album “The Elephant in the Room” is currently storming up the pop charts with quite literally dozens of streams already & it’s also available on CD for a very reasonable price!

They even have their own Christmas song which they will of course be re releasing every year until the end of time.

Apart from playing their own original music, & to help support their wives, girlfriends & vast hordes of illegitamate children, they also perform as a function band at weddings & parties & have a repertoire of over 300 songs from the 60s right up to the present day, which includes everything from Elvis to Ed Sheeran & will have everyone from toddlers to grandads up on the dance floor having a great time!
