Singer/Guitarist Martin Montague is probably best known for being the charismatic frontman of popular Berkshire based Indie Pop/Rock band Don't Look Now. But he is just as adept at entertaining at his solo gigs with his large repertoire of over 300 popular songs that span the decades from the 60's right up to the present day.

Unlike a lot of solo acts around at the moment he does not use any backing tracks, drum machine or loop pedals. Just an acoustic guitar & a soulful voice that's ideal for playing soft background music in a restaurant, wine bar or pub while people are having a meal or a friendly chat. But he is also quite capable of leading a good old pub sing along when required!

His musical career started at a very early age when he joined his dad in the choir at St Peters church in Burnham aged 7. After leaving school though, music got put on the back burner for a while as he spent his late teens & early 20's racing motorbikes. After a bad accident forced him to give up racing, he rediscovered his love for music in his late 20's & enrolled in the Berkshire School of Pop Music in Maidenhead where he studied Guitar, Keyboards & Music Theory.
This led to the production of a solo album of original Folk Rock tunes called "Watching the World go By" which included the critically acclaimed single "Acting the Fool".

Shortly after this he teamed up with a few fellow local musicians to form the band Don't Look Now who, after producing 3 albums & countless lineup changes are still going strong & coming to a venue near you very soon!
